Bubbles in the Glass

In this dim bar all alone
My mind keeps wandering back to home
And the loved ones that I left so far behind
With little else for me to do, just feel alone and blue
I counted bubbles in the glass to ease my mind

There's a bubble for your wife
Cause you know you ruined her life
And the little bubbles represent your kids
Better have another drink
You're gettin' too much time to think
Count the bubbles in the glass and cry, my friend

Count the bubbles in the glass
Each one's a menory of your past
There's one for every foolish thing you've done
There's one for every tear you cried
And one for every time you lied
Count the bubbles in the glass and cry, my friend

There's one for Mom and Dad
'Cause you treated them so bad
And you know you rushed them to an early grave
It's too late now, my friend, to think
Just have another drink
Then count the bubbles in the glass and cry, my friend

Count the bubbles in the glass
Each one's a menory of your past
There's one for every foolish thing you've done
There's one for every tear you cried
And one for every time you lied
Count the bubbles in the glass and cry, my friend
Count the bubbles in the glass and cry, my friend
